Deborah Jean Caskey Goode, age 61, of 1484 Redbud Road in Lincolnton, died on August 7, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:15 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Goode was born January 25, 1953, in Lincoln county, to the late Billy Joe and Doris Cody Caskey. She was a caregiver.

She is survived by her husband, James Goode of the home; one son, Richie Houk of Lincolnton; one daughter, Lisa Navey and husband Ben of Lincolnton; one brother, William Caskey of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Ronald Navey and wife Maria and Elizabeth Falvey and husband Brian; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Navey, Stella Rose Navey, and Grace Falvey; and a special niece, Brianna Cochran.
