Obituaries

Mrs. Mary Ellen Crouse Dellinger, age 83, of Arbor Run Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Brian Center in Lincolnton.

Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Pearson and Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in Maiden City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Dellinger was born April 28, 1931 in Catawba County, to the late Guy Robert and Esther Hilderbran Crouse.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Crouse and one sister, Evelyn Little.  Mrs. Dellinger was retired from Newton Furniture where she worked as a secretary.

Survivors include her husband, Kirby Dellinger of the home; a daughter, Joette Ross and husband Butch of Lincolnton; one son, Kim Dellinger and wife Theresa of Maiden; one brother, Neil Crouse and wife Darlene of Maiden; seven grandchildren, Heather Willis, Angie Drewery and husband J.C., Elizabeth Carpenter and husband Rusty, Mia Gantt and husband Justin, Sarah Ross, Darin Dellinger and Kirby Dellinger, IV; thirteen greatgrandchildren.
