Beulah Lorene Propst Boyles, age 93, of 4846 W. Highway 27, Vale, died on Friday, September 26, 2014.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Bess Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Nick Rochester, Jr. and Rev. George Williams and wife Gayle officiating. Burial will follow in the Bess Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boyles was born July 20, 1921, in Lincoln county, to the late William Every and Georgiana Mae Wilson Propst. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Boyles, two grandchildren, Jenny Lynne Ball and Angela Denise Ball, and siblings Cline Propst, Carl Propst, Velma P. Drum, W.E. Dub Propst, Annie Propst Johnston, Ada P. DeVenny, Moton Propst, Wilma P. Blackburn, and Willie Mae Stanley. She previously worked in textiles and retired from Magic Cleaners on Riverside Drive in Lincolnton.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy B. Ball and husband Larry of Boone; a son, Eddie Boyles and wife Debbie of Denver; three grandsons, Jason Boyles and wife Kristy, Tracy Ball and wife Katie, Tyler Boyles and wife Amanda; and one great-grandson, Levi Ball
