Obituaries

Mrs. Catherine Miller Long age 92 of 1211 Rufus road in Denver passed away Saturday October 4, 2014.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday October 6, 2014 at the Rock Springs Campground Arbor, with Rev. Matt Gunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeshore Presbyterian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:45pm Monday prior to the service at Rock Springs Campground.

Mrs. Long was a native of Mt. Holly daughter of the late James and Minnie Duckworth Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady C. Long. Mrs. Long worked for General Time Co., as a clock timer before retiring.

Survivors include: one son Roddi Long of Denver; one daughter Diane Goers of Mint Hill; 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
