Obituaries

Ronald Braxton “Ronnie” Dalton, age 72, of 452 Calvary Church Road, Lincolnton died Wednesday, October 22, 2014.

His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kathy McAbee officiating.  Burial will follow in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Dalton was born on January 12, 1942 and was the son of the late A.B. Dalton, Sr. and Nevie  Ree Kurkis Dalton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, A.B. Dalton, Jr..  Prior to retiring from the maintenance department of Robco Enterprises, he retired from Coble Dairy after 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Doris L. Dalton of the home; two daughters, Vickie Rikard and husband, Marty and Patty Dalton; grandchildren, Braxton Rikard, Bailey Rikard, Brayden Rikard, Andrew Dalton, Eilainia Dalton and Abigail Dalton; two sisters, Peggy Mincey and husband, Doug and Judy Wayne and husband, Larry.
