Ruby Frances Harless Wyont, age 94, of 165 Ceebk Road in Bessemer City, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Puett United Methodist Church with Rev. Cliff Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. 

Mrs. Wyont was born August 1, 1920, in Ashe county, to the late Albert Milton and Elmer Mae Blackburn Harless. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Franklin Wyont, daughter-in-law Sharon Wyont, brothers Donald Harless and Reeves Harless, five sisters Mary Hedgepheth, Margaret McConnell, Pansy Boyles, Myrtle Kiser, and Dolly Elmore.

She is survived by a son, Ralph Elliott Wyont of Bessemer City; one step-grandchild, Beth York; three great-grandchildren, Cooper York, Paxton York, and Parker York; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
