Robert Patrick Shirley, age 62, of 6354 Sherwood Lane in Denver, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

Mr. Shirley was born March 17, 1952, in McDowell County, WV, to the late Russell and Dorothy Green Shirley. He worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Whistlehunt Shirley of Lincolnton; two daughters, Kimberly S. Horne and Melissa S. Lawing, both of Denver; one brother, Johnny Shirley of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
