Jimmy Rudisill, age 73, of 603 Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, November 17, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Rudisill was born October 15, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late Peter Zero and Geneva Rogers Rudisill. He worked as a lineman for Duke Energy.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elaine Kinley Rudisill of the home; a son, Eddie Rudisill of Lincolnton; a daughter, Shauna Gilleland and husband Rodney of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Courtney Rudisill, and Dylan Moose and fiance Nikki of Vale; adoptive grandson, Dylan Shook; three sisters, Mildred, Betty, and Martha; and brothers, Fred, Buck, Walt, and Roger.
