Catherine Dennis Putnam Hardin

Catherine Dennis Putnam Hardin, age 90, of 3068 Asbury Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 8, 2014.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Anita Sain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Hardin was born April 25, 1924, in Cherokee county, SC to the late Thomas Lee Putnam, Sr. and Sudie Byrd Foster Putnam. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She worked as a seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, William J. Hardin of the home; one son, William David Hardin and wife Brenda of Lincolnton; one brother, Walter Eugene Putnam of Grover, NC; one sister, Janelle Diffenderfer of Blacksburg, SC; two grandchildren, David Bradley Hardin and wife Kellie, and Michael Chase Hardin and wife Katie, all of Lincolnton; two great-grandchildren, Noah Hardin and Brooks Hardin.
