Clyde Anna Elizabeth (Tots) Wilson Fincannon went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jesse Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was a homemaker, a momma, wife, sister, grandma, aunt, and friend. Mom made home a home. Mom cooked, gardened, canned, and baked. Mom was there after school before school, in all our ups and downs, good times, and bad. Mom laughed with, played with, and cried with all of us. Mom could keep up with the best of them.
Mom loved her family and always was ready for them to come see her. She looked forward to the visits and being able to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She said she felt needed, wanted, and loved when they came to see her and she could be with them.
Mom taught us all what it means to go on. She was tough, could be stubborn, did what had to be done. As one of her doctor’s told us (respectfully) “she’s one tough bird.” She only complained about not being able to do what she used to do. This was after her health began to decline.
