James Lee Payseur, Sr.

Mr. James Lee Payseur, Sr., age 73, of 144 S.J. Crawford Road, Lincolnton died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.
His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Spencer officiating. His body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton.
Mr. Payseur was born on February 10, 1941 and was the son of the late John Leonard and Verna Smith Paysour. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Payseur and two sisters, Dorothy Terres and Ola Mae Ross. After working for ten years at Superior Chair, Mr. Payseur worked at Mohican Mills for twenty years and retired after thirteen years as a machinist at Cookson Rolling Doors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and beekeeping.
Mr. Payseur is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home; two sons, James Lee Payseur, Jr. and wife Debra of Gaston County and John Sidney Payseur of Gaston County; two brother, Beauford Payseur and Clyde Paysour; one sister, Frances Alexander.
