Carl Lamar Lord, Jr., age 67, of 4482 Bouy Lane, Denver, NC died Sunday, December 21, 2014.

Services for Mr. Lord will be held at a later date.

Mr. Lord was born on March 29, 1947 in San Diego, California and was the son of the late Carl Lamar Lord, Sr. and Virginia Johnson Lord. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Tyler James.  He was a forklift operator for Tyco Plastics.

Mr. Lord is survived by two sons, Carl Lamar Lord III of the home and Michael Paul Lord of Elklin, PA; daughter, Patricia Ann James of Iron Station; two sisters, Lois Darlene Smith of Winston-Salem and Cheryl Virginia Harris of Hastings, Florida; three grandchildren, Joseph Allen James, Scott Matthew James and Lillian Ann Lord; four great-grandchildren.
