Obituaries

Mr. Bernard Eugene Harless, age 67, of 3283 Laboratory Road in Lincolnton died Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Brown officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Harless was born March 8, 1947 in Lincoln County to Nell Brown Harless and the late Donald Dwight Harless.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  Mr. Harless was an appliance repairman.

Survivors include his mother, Nell Harless of Lincolnton; one son, Mac Harless of Hickory; one daughter Lillian Harless Lewis and husband Mark of Wilmington, NC; one brother, Kevin E. Harless of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Samuel, Kendall and A.J. Lewis.
