Obituaries

Martha Dominy Jones, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at home with her family by her side.

Martha was born on April 2, 1949 in Alice, TX to the late Bill and Virginia Dominy.  She was preceded in death by her sister Diane and brother Billy.  Martha is survived by her husband Dan Jones and daughters Lisa Jones Smith and Nicole Jones Lutz, and grandchildren Blaine Baylor, Brooklyn and Landon Smith and Whitely Lutz.

Martha dearly loved her family and spent many hours doing projects with her grandchildren.  She was a skilled seamstress who made all her daughter’s prom and wedding dresses.  She started a cottage industry business teaching “Kids to Sew”, worked for Hallmark as a territory manager, and loved to travel with her husband Dan.

A memorial service will be held at the Denver United Methodist Church on Highway 16 North on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
