Obituaries

Nellie Daphine Goins, age 82, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 28, 2014.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015, in the South River Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. 

Miss Goins was born August 25, 1932, in Lincoln county, to the late Guy E. and Pearl White Goins. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Cody and husband Jerry of Lincolnton; two sisters, Carolyn Thomas and Louise Sigmon, both of Lincolnton; a grandson, Matthew Cody; and nineteen nieces and nephews.
