Teresa Howie Barkley

Teresa Howie Barkley, age 51, of 2054 Beth Haven Church Road in Denver, died on Sunday, February 15, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends at the home following the service.
Mrs. Barkley was born May 13, 1963, in Alabama, to Ruth Dellinger Howie and the late Calvin Howie. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Barkley of the home; a daughter, Heather DePietro and husband Luke of Dallas, NC; two sons, Daniel Binkley of Lincolnton and Kevin Rhyne and wife Amber of Iron Station; a brother, Eddie Howie of Maiden; four sisters, Dorthy Sims of Salisbury, Virginia Huskins of Stanley, Dora Modlin of Stanley, and Barbara Jean Carter of Denver; and six grandchildren, Caitlin Sellers, Gavin Rhyne, Darren Binkley, Joseph DePietro, Hailey Binkley, and Lucas DePietro.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
