Ruby Inez Simmons Morrison

Mrs. Ruby Inez Simmons Morrison, 88, of Killian Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Clark and Rev. James Greene officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Morrison was born June 29, 1926, in Catawba County to the late Rob Lee and Ollie Sigmon Simmons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin R. Morrison; five sisters, Stella Marlowe, Laura Huffman, Edith Sigmon, Lucille Reed, Mary Barger; one brother Clyde Simmons; one grandson, John Clark. She was retired from textiles.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Morrison and husband Terry Gales of Lincolnton; one son, Bobby Morrison and wife Melissa of Lincolnton; two sisters, Susie Hennessee of Forest City and Pauline Teague of Newton; grandchildren, Bonita Lester and Timmy Morrison; great grandchildren, Kristina Lester, Samantha Lester, Haleigh Lester and Shelby Clark.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
