Bobbie Jean Hartsoe

Bobbie Jean Hartsoe, age 81, of Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Miss Hartsoe was born March 2, 1934, in Lincoln county, to the late George Paul and Bessie Mae Gilbert Hartsoe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Velma Peeler. She was a member of West Lincolnton Baptist Church, studied her Bible daily, and loved seek-and-find crossword books. She worked for Cochrane Furniture as a finisher.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Cheek of Georgia; a granddaughter, Carmen Cornwell of Georgia; a great-granddaughter, Imani Jalloh of Georgia; two sisters, Juanita Davis of Iron Station and Shirley Reel of Iron Station; and a brother, Kenneth Hartsoe of South Carolina.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
