Bobby Lee Brooks

Bobby Lee Brooks, age 74, of 1230 Better Brook Lane in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Brooks was born July 17, 1940, in Lincoln county, to Lois Goins Brooks and the late Troy Jefferson Brooks. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert L. Brooks and Timmy Dale Brooks, Sr. He worked in auto body repair.
He is survived by his wife, Lula Holland Brooks of the home; his mother, Lois G. Brooks of Lincolnton; three sons, Bobby E. Brooks and wife Karen, and Terry Brooks and wife Becky, all of Iron Station, and Tony D. Brooks of Lincolnton; four daughters, Shirley Ann Ball of Mooresboro, Tina Brooks Culver of Morganton, and Penny Owens and Lisa Marie Ormand, all of Lincolnton; stepchildren, Pam Crawley and husband David of Lincolnton, Kenny Harris and wife Cinda of Maiden; twenty-four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Troy Brooks, Johnny Brooks, and Danny Brooks, all of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Relay for Life, or to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
