Russell Lee Schronce

Russell Lee Schronce, age 85, of Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 6, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Schronce was born September 1, 1929, in Lincoln county, to the late Earl McClure and Ada Nolen Schronce. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Cagle Schronce, and a brother, David Schronce. He loved to garden and mow grass, loved to make bird houses, supported LHS Football for 30+ years, and loved the Carolina Tarheels.
He is survived by two sons, Mike Schronce of the home and Rodney Schronce of Mt. View; a daughter, Pat Mosteller of Lincolnton; a granddaughter, Hannah Ruth Mosteller of Lincolnton; and a brother, Max Schronce of Lincolnton.
