Clyde Franklin Ledford, Sr.

Clyde Franklin Ledford, Sr., age 81, of 1934 W. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ledford was born November 23, 1933, in Lincoln county, to the late Russell Carl and Ethel Short Ledford. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, James Ledford. He worked in construction and in his spare time enjoyed fox and rabbit hunting, camping, and was a volunteer firefighter for the Crouse Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret JoAnn Sain Ledford of the home; two sons, Clyde Ledford, Jr. and wife Linda, and Tim Ledford, all of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
