Henry Rene Quesnel, age 87, of 2174 W.T. Carpenter Drive in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Tripp Castell officiating.

Mr. Quesnel was born December 9, 1927, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, to the late Harry and Florence Arcon Quesnel. He worked as an auto mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Harris Quesnel of the home; two sons, Scott Quesnel and wife Teresa of Asheville, and Mark Quesnel of St. Petersburg, FL; three daughters, Jacqueline Wolf of Florida, Leann Alfaro-Arias and husband Guillermo of Etowah, NC, and Wendy Quesnel of Hendersonville, NC; five grandchildren, Christopher Corbin of Greenville, SC, Alisha Corbin of Greensville, SC, Thomas Seward and wife Kristin of Jacksonville, FL, and Samuel Seward and Ryan Seward, both of Hendersonville, NC; and two great-grandchildren.
