Mr. F.L. “Buck” Armstrong, age 85, passed away on April 11, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ken Faulkenbury officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Armstrong was born July 3, 1929 in Gaston County to the late Robert Oscar and Nannie Cato Armstrong.  He was retired from textiles.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Burr Armstrong of the home; six children, Trenton Armstrong, Susie Hill of the home, Peggy Miller, Anna Isenhour, Maxine Harvell and Ricky Hill; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several family members and close friends.
