Elizabeth Moody Yount
( December 18, 1946 - April 12, 1915 )
Elizabeth Moody Yount, age 68, of 4780 Crouse Road in Crouse, died on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Bethphage Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred Mitschke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Yount was born December 18, 1946, in Gaston County, to the late Harris Webb and Annie Lee Simpson Moody. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Carlo Yount, Jr., and a sister Betty Jo Gilbert. She worked as a sewing machine operator at Dallas Pillow Company.
She is survived by a son, Bobby “Jeff” Yount and partner Charles “Kris” Hanks of Whiteville; a daughter, Penny J. Yount of Newton; three sisters, Mary Poole of Lincolnton, Frances Glenn of Lincolnton, and Veda McMillan of Gastonia; two brothers, Bobby Moody of Iron Station and Dwight Moody of Cherryville; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
