Larry Wayne Whitlock

Mr. Larry Wayne Whitlock, age 66, of 880 Crystal Springs Drive, Lincolnton died Wednesday, April 22, 2015.
His funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Luke Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Highland Drive Baptist Church.
Mr. Whitlock was born on July 19, 1948. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer and also loved buying and selling cars.
Mr. Whitlock is survived by his wife, Norma B. Whitlock of the home; one son, David Blackburn and wife, April of Lincolnton; one daughter, Star Whitlock and fiancé, Jonathan of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Darby, Sunshine, Keelie, Bradley, Christopher, Aaron and Devin.
