Jayne Haney Mannino, of Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
Funeral mass will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Carmen Malacari officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 12:00 noon prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Mannino was the daughter of the late Carl and Edna Ketchmark Haney. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Haney, and her cat named Harpo. Having served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, her husband Joe, who loved her dearly, said that Jayne would have made a great drill instructor.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph S. Mannino of the home; a sister, Diane Mangleson and husband Vic of Nebraska; a nephew, Carl Mangleson of Nebraska; and her beloved cat, Rocky.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Building Fund, 537 Highway 16, North, Denver, NC 28037.
