Sally Pamphilia Carter Link, age 101, of 1862 Highway 73 in Iron Station, died on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Anita Sain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Link was born February 2, 1914, in Catawba County to the late Ernest and Myrtle Lynch Carter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hollis J. Link. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a daughter, Cotty Lytton and husband Jack of Stoneville; four grandchildren, Dane Barker, Jack Lytton II and wife Susan, Brian Lytton and wife Sandy, and Marie Lytton; eight grandchildren, Korin Barker, Lacie Barker, Mary Lytton, Aaron Lytton, Makala Lytton, Carrie Jo Lytton, Sadie Carter; and Cameron Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, PO Box 676, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
