Angela Jo “Punky” Bennett Rector, age 48, of 3631 Gladden Drive in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, May 24, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery Rev. Joseph DiJohn Free officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Angela was born July 6, 1966, in Erwin, Tennessee, to Richard Bennett, Sr. and Barbara Higgins Bennett. She worked as a screen printer.

She is survived by her husband, David Martin Rector of the home; a son, David Eric Rector of Lincolnton; a daughter, Keisha Carpenter of Lincolnton; her parents, Richard Bennett, Sr. and Barbara H. Bennett of Lincolnton; two brothers, Richard Bennett, Jr. of Snow Camp, NC and Earl Grady Bennett of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Alexis Rector, Austin Pearson, and Ally Carpenter, all of Lincolnton.
