Betty Glenn Mull Powell

Mrs. Betty Glenn Mull Powell, age 83, of 5651 Flay Road, Cherryville died Saturday, June 13, 2015.
Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Wade Dellinger officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Powell was born on August 3, 1931 in Burke County and was the daughter of the late Jessie Lee and Virginia Stewart Mull. She was preceded in death by her husband McClure Franklin Powell. Betty retired from the Bakery Department at Bi-Lo in Lincolnton. She was a member of North Brook Baptist Church and loved gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Powell and wife, Rebecca of Lincolnton and Randy Powell and wife, Joann of Lincolnton; five sisters, Shirley Saunders of Morganton, Lillian Norman of Morganton, Joyce Crawley of Morganton, Verlie Roper of Valdese and Bonnie Lowman of Valdese; five grandchildren, Michael Dean Powell of Vale, Christopher Lee Powell of Columbia, SC, Major Timothy Howard of Midland, NC, Tabatha Gibson of Troutman and Tiffany Gibson of Lincolnton; ten great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank each of you for your prayers and support during this time.
