Ava Ruth Davis Chapman

Mrs. Ava Davis Chapman age 67 of Pleasant Grove Church Road Lincolnton died on June 27, 2015.
A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Wednesday July 1, 2015 at Pleasant Church United Methodist, with Rev. Jim Sanders and Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from 1:30 until 2:45pm prior to the service.
Mrs. Chapman was a native of Lincoln County born on September 4, 1947, daughter of the late Claude and Ruth Childers Davis. Mrs. Chapman worked in the Lincoln County School system as a teacher before retiring.
Survivors include: husband Cecil Chapman of the home; one son Joshua Chapman of Lincolnton; one daughter Laura Smith of Raleigh; one sister Kay Lowe of Lincolnton; two grandchildren Kylie Smith and Hunter Chapman; most of all her special friend and pet “Tiny”.
The family would like to thank her caregivers Tracy Andrews, Glenda Wray, Lisa Phipps, Deborah Huss, Brenda Noles and Debbie Saunders and Special thanks to Hospice of Lincoln County.
