Thelma Yount Rudisill

Thelma May Yount Rudisill, age 99, of Trinity Village in Hickory, died on Friday, July 3, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. in the North Wing of the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Rudisill was born November 12, 1915, in Lincoln County, to the late James Cleo and Fannie Pearl Wyant Yount. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by he husband, Victor Leon Rudisill. She worked as a clerk in the Lincoln County Tax Office.
She is survived by a son, James Rudisill and wife Anna of Hickory; a daughter, Vicki Fales and husband Bob of Hickory; grandchildren, Alice Fales and husband Dan Bell of Austin, TX and Megan Fales of Asheville; and step-grandchildren, Dyna M. Cloninger and James R. McCormick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 216 S. Aspen Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
