Geneva Scronce Ingle
( October 8, 1921 - July 6, 2015 )
Geneva Scronce Ingle, age 93, of the Brian Center, and formerly of Howards Creek Mill Road in Vale, went to her heavenly home on July 6, 2015, to watch her family from above. She was employed in the textile industry.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Reepsville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hull officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Geneva was born in Lincoln County on October 8, 1921, to the late William McKinley and Beulah Abee Scronce. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband John Alfred Ingle, two brothers Frank and Loy Scronce, and three sisters Catherine Scronce, Ruth Chapman, and Betty Shrum. She was a lifetime member of Reepsville Baptist Church and a member of the Young At Hearts group at the church.
Survivors include two sons, William Edward Ingle and wife Dianne of Lincolnton, and John David Ingle of Crouse; one daughter, Bernice Ingle Wilkinson and husband Pete of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, John David Ingle, Jr., Kim Ingle Colvard, Darren Ingle, Eric and Brad Wilkinson; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Pansy Saine of the Brian Center; two brothers, Bob Scronce, and T.C. Scronce and wife Christine of Vale; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
