David Kenneth Keever, Sr.

David Kenneth Keever, Sr., age 76, of 6293 Hill Gates Trail in Cherryville, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Keever was born October 1, 1938, in Lincoln County, to the late John Franklin and Bessie Johnson Keever. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers Carroll Keever and Bill Keever, and a sister Natha Meeks. He served in the United States Army and then later worked at CommScope from where he retired.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elaine Rudisill Keever of the home; two sons, David Keever, Jr. and wife Selina, and Tim Keever and wife Denise, all of Lincolnton; two brothers, Larry Keever and Jerry Keever, both of Lincolnton; three sisters, Pat Houser, Alma Robinson, and Betty Sain, all of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Brett Keever, Amber Keever, and Dakota Keever; and his canine companion, Heidi.
Memorials may be made to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, PO Box 441, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
