Obituaries

Edward Saunders Maddox, age 47, of O.F. Bowman Lane, Taylorsville died Monday, July 27, 2015.

His funeral will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Denver United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Johnsen officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Denver United Methodist Church. 

Mr. Maddox was born on September 20, 1967.  He attended a year and a half at Brevard College and worked as a diesel mechanic.

Survivors are his parents, Rev. Ed and Brenda Maddox of Sherrills Ford: two brothers, Gregory Scott Maddox of Mooresville and James Michael Maddox of Stanley; two nieces and one nephew.
