Obituaries
Mr. Ricky Dwayne Rudisill, age 52, of 2113 Highway 73 in
Iron Station went Home to see the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2015, doing what he
loved doing most, riding his motorcycle.
His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
August 4, 2015, at Sharon
Baptist Church
with Rev. David Walker and Rev. Greg Spurling officiating. His body will lie in
state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday,
August 3, 2015 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Rudisill was born April 19, 1963 in Lincoln County
to Judy Ward Rudisill McCumbee and the late David Wayne Rudsill. He was a loyal employee of Vermont American
which is now Robert Bosch Tools where he has worked for over 29 years. He loved being outdoors especially with his
dog King and was a friend to all and never met a stranger. Ricky was very proud of his ancestry and
southern heritage and a proud member of the Sons Confederate Veterans of
Lincoln County Camp 1616, Robert F. Hoke.
Ricky was a loving husband, father and grandfather and son and will be
dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly Davis Rudisill of the
home; two sons, Josh Rudisill and wife Abbey of Iron Station and Chad Rudisill
and wife Jennifer of Iron Station; his mother Judy Ward McCumbee and
stepfather, Jerry McCumbee of Iron Station; four grandchildren, Gia, Mason,
Miles and Rayne Rudisill of Iron Station.
