Irene Poole Hoyle

Irene Poole Hoyle, age 90, of 8034 Palm Tree Church Road in Vale, died on Friday, August 7, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015, at Macedonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Hoyle was born July 26, 1925, in Lincoln County, to the late Horace and Edith Engle Poole. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Hoyle, and two sisters Annie Warlick and Minnie Ruth Craig. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Wehunt and husband Clyde of Cherryville and Kay Hice and husband Gene of Vale; one sister, Pearl Rudisill and husband Calvin of Vale; four grandchildren, Kevin Auten and wife Suzanne, Amy Auten Smith and husband Mark, Travis Leatherman and wife Deana; Angela Leatherman Rascoe and husband Evans; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
