Hilda Rainey Black

Hilda Evelyn Rainey Black age 84 of 232 Hepzibah Church Road in Crouse died Friday, August 7, 2015.
Mrs. Black was born April 6, 1931 in Barrow County Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Amos Dewey Rainey and Alma Hulsey Rainey. Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin Oscar Black; daughter Frances Rebecca Black. She was a homemaker and member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Cherryville City Cemetery.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Frances Rainey and Virginia Rainey Powell both of Atlanta, GA; ten nieces and nine nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
