Russel Lee Hedrick, Sr.

Mr. Russel Lee Hedrick, Sr., age 80, of 1992 Beth Haven Church Road in Denver, died on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Whitey Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Hedrick was born September 10, 1934, in Catawba County, to the late John Theodore and Rose Moser Hedrick. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Roberts Hedrick and a son, Jackie Cline. He worked as a boat builder for Dixie Boats.
He is survived by three sons, Russel Hedrick, Jr. and wife Penny of Denver, Tommy Cline of Newton, and Michael Cline of Hickory; four daughters, Debbie Stewart of Hickory, Doris Miller of Claremont, Judy Joiner and husband Charlie of Newton, and Shelia Burgess of Hickory; and thirty-two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Olde Knox Commons Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 13825 Hunton Lane, Huntersville, NC 28078.
