Mary Beth Miller Edwards
( March 26, 1925 - August 26, 2015 )
Mary Beth Miller Edwards, age 90, of 5389 E. Highway 27 in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Killian and Rev. Gordon Schronce officiating. Burial will follow in Iron Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Edwards was born March 26, 1925, in Cleveland County, to the late Lawrence Ezell and Blanche Alvin Miller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands Fred Robinson, Roy Davis, and J. P. Edwards, brother William “Bud” Miller, granddaughter Amy Davis, and her cousin and best friend Peg Rietzel. She retired from Duke Power.
She is survived by two sons, Roy L. Davis and Pat Davis, and Jack A. Davis and wife Larie, all of Iron Station; three brothers, Gene Miller of Rutherfordton, John Miller and wife Betty, and Joe Miller and wife Elizabeth, all of Iron Station; sister-in-law Doris Miller of Iron Station; four grandchildren, Jason Davis and friend Bridgette, Danny Davis and wife Erin, Adam Davis and wife Pam, and Kenny Davis; and five great-grandchildren, Rhett Davis, Katie Davis, Anna Davis, Hannah Davis, and Parker Davis.
Memorials may be made to Iron Station United Methodist Church, 4777 E. Highway 27, Iron Station, NC 28080, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
The family would also like to thank Kathy Harris and Sylvia Tobiasz of Hospice.
