Joan Louise Fredrick

Joan Louise Fredrick, age 93, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Rosa Erickson officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date on St. Davis Island, Bermuda. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Fredrick was born November 12, 1921, in Channel Islands, England, to the late Archibald and Laura Fox Lee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Fredrick. She served for 2 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. After leaving the service she was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy L. Woodruff and husband Johnny of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Tina Keller of Lincolnton and Chris Gay of Wilson, NC; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 315 N. Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
