Richard Lee Davis

Richard Lee Davis, age 83, of 2100 Highway 73 in Iron Station, died on Monday, August 31, 2015
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015, at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Setzer officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born September 6, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Harold and Alberta Payne Davis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Seeker Davis, and son-in-law Rick Rudisill. He served in the United States Air Force and then later worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Rudisill of Iron Station; three sons, Steve Davis and wife Joy of Lincolnton, Michael Davis of Iron Station, and David Davis and wife Wanda of Georgia; three brothers, Bob Davis, Jim Davis, and Mart Davis, all of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
