Emeline Norman DeGroat

Emeline Norman DeGroat, age 75, of 2408 Startown Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Hughes officiating.
Mrs. DeGroat was born July 23, 1940, in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Wilbur and Elizabeth Dolsay Norman. She worked in home care.
She is survived by her husband, Aubrey “Bud” Aderholdt of the home; a son, David Hendershot of Charlotte; a daughter, Elizabeth Corona of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robin Johnson Hospice House, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
