Gladys Ruth Butler Ferguson

Gladys Ruth Butler Ferguson, age 88, of Iron Station, died on Monday, September 7, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Spencer officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ferguson was born February 7, 1927, in Fayetteville, New York, to the late Charles and Hazel Prine Butler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Donald Raymond Ferguson, a daughter Elaine Ladd, three sons Dana Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Shane Ferguson, and a sister Alice Chapman. She worked for Mohawk Data Sciences.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Wayne Ferguson and wife Virginia of New Mexico, and Chad Fay Ferguson and wife Joanne of Iron Station; two daughters, Diana L. Gilbert and husband Ron of California, and Laurie Crawley and husband Duane of Vale; nineteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
