Terry Everette Carpenter
( July 20, 1959 - September 15, 2015 )
Terry Everette Carpenter, “Bubba”, of Rocky Lane in Lincolnton, went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Terry was born on July 20, 1959, to the late John Everette and Carolyn P. Carpenter. Terry was retired from the City of Lincolnton.
Bubba was loved by many. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed his time on earth playing with his grandchildren, riding his Harley, “Ruth”, with Chot, and hanging out with friends in the “man cave.”
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Charlsie B. Carpenter; son Rusty Carpenter and wife Elizabeth of Lincolnton; daughter Heather Carpenter Fredell and husband Stephen of Vale; daughter Kaylon Carpenter Hovis and husband Kyle of Vale; and grandchildren Hunter and Will Carpenter, Tristan and Nadia Fredell, and Brody and Alayna Hovis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
