Obituaries

Frankie Sue Morgan Williams, age 78, of 4692 Flay Road, Lincolnton died Saturday, September 19, 2015.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.  Burial will be private. At all other times the family will be at the home of Frankie Williams

Mrs. Williams was born on October 23, 1936 in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Dillard and Edna Ledford Morgan.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Williams.  She was the owner and operator of R&C Hosiery and later worked as a hanger for Goodwill Industries for fifteen years.

She is survived by one son, Terry "Big Red" Williams and wife, Melinda of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Brick, Callie and Colby Williams; one brother, M.D. “Bud” Morgan of Mississippi.
