Mr. Harvey Stewart Crass, Jr., age 89, of 7816 Blades Trail in Denver, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date.
Mr. Crass was born March 1, 1926, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Harvey Stewart Crass, Sr. and Sara Aufderheide Crass. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothea Roessler Crass. He served in the United States Army during World War II and then later worked as an accountant.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Crass and wife Darla of Denver and Scott Crass and wife Doyna Uy of Long Beach, CA; a daughter, Cynthia Crass of Pasedena, CA; a sister, JoAnn Moyer of Berea, OH; seven grandchildren, Morgan Hearns and husband Nate of Iron Station, Simon Crass and wife Jessica of Chicago, IL, Austin Crass of Denver, Arden Uy and Sofia Uy, both of Long Beach, CA, Gianna Pilato of Pasedena, CA, and Shea Crass of Fort Mill, SC; and four great-grandchildren, Reagan Hearns, Colin Hearns, and Evelyn Hearns, all of Iron Station, and Daniel Crass of Chicago, IL.
