Obituaries

Mrs. Peggy Ann Moore. Stroupe, age 74, of 711  Dogwood Drive in Lincolnton died Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Her funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 until 10:45 am prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stroupe was born on May 17, 1941 in Caldwell County to the late Lucy Mae Moore.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Stroupe.   She was retired from law enforcement where she worked as a dispatcher.

Survivors include: one son Jeffrey Stroupe and wife Kelly of Lincolnton; one brother Paul Moore of Wilmington; one grandson Justin Stoupe, step grandchildren Addie, Zachary and Mackensie Schronce and  great grandson Landon Shaw; special friend Fred Morrison.
