Marilyn McElwaine Yandle

Marilyn McElwaine Yandle, age 73, of 10530 Hardwood Lane in Charlotte, died on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015, in the Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. T.J. Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the Fellowship Hall of Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Marilyn was born September 13, 1942, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Charles and Lucille Gordon McElwaine. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Keith McDonald Yandle, and a daughter Dayna Yandle Carpenter. She worked for Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
She is survived by a son, Kerry Yandle and wife Tracy of Lincolnton; grandson, Kyle Yandle and wife Savannah of Crouse; five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Gabriel, Ethan, Evan, and Abagail; two sisters, Peggy Jones of Chester, SC and Diane Black of Charlotte; a niece, Lindsey Drapper of Mt. Holly; and a nephew, Darren Black of Virginia.
