Rita Faye Sipe Coffey, age 56 of 1778 Waterfalls Drive in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Bost officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Coffey was born November 17, 1958, in Catawba County, to Fred L. Sipe, Sr. and Mary Lucille Keever Sipe. She worked as a bus driver and custodian for Lincoln County Schools.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Coffey of the home; a daughter, Hannah Paige Coffey of the home; two sisters, Patricia Queen and husband Allen of Maiden, and Angela Black and husband Terry of Lincolnton; two brothers, Fred L. Sipe, Jr. and Jeffery Sipe, both of Maiden; her parents, Fred “Boone” Sipe, Sr. and Mary “Lucille” Sipe of Maiden; father and mother-in-law Roy and Shelby Coffey; six nephews; one niece; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Coffey.
