Obituaries

Mrs. Jean Wyant Avery, age 73, of 1387 George Brown Road in Crouse, died on Friday, November 6, 2015.  

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:45 am until 12:45 pm on Monday prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Avery was born January 2, 1942 in Lincoln County to the late Mary B. Wyant Reel.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee “Hop” Avery and a half brother, Bobby Reel.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Steve Avery of Crouse; two half sisters, Joanne and Betty Sue; one half brother, Jim.
